CHEERLEADER ROADKILL
(Chicago, IL) Founded in 2022, Classmates Noel Kovac (Guitar, Vocals) and Jack Metz (Bass), inspired by bands of the 90s such as Blink-182, Nirvana and Sum-41. They began writing songs in Kovac’s garage in the summer of ‘22 and soon turned their attention to finding a drummer. 6 months later drummer and producer Jesse Ortega was brought into the fold and solidified the current lineup. The band released their first EP “Cowboy Divorce Birthday Party” in April of 2023, followed by the singles “Get Up” in June ‘23 and “Suburbia” in January ‘24, as well as the debut LP “Golf Course Intercourse” in July of 2024. Since the Bands inception they've turned backyard shows into sold out DIY gigs in a little over a year, and amassed a whopping four million streams across platforms. The band has had the pleasure of playing at legendary chicago venues such as Subterranean, Beat Kitchen and cobra lounge, Opening for California’s “Raue”, and being featured on the cover of Pass Down magazine’s October 2024 issue.
